Assuming you have a Goldwing now. If you were to buy a second bike what would it be? Why?

For me, it would be either a Concours or WeeStrom (650 VStrom).

Concours because of the price, support, and more agressive riding ability. I find the maximum lean angle on my GL1100 prohibitive. I began riding again 6 seasons ago on a Kawasaki KZ550 I miss some of the manueveribly that bike.

WeeStrom, because the idea of adventure touring intreges me.

My son recently bought a new Boulevard 90T. I really like the look and feel. He took it on a couple of long trips and said it performs great. So, Either that or the Yamaha Silverado would probably be my first looks. I love the retro look of some on the market, but i haven't ridden any of them so don't know.

I've already got a second bike which is a '94 GL1500 S.E.

If I were to choose another bike other than a Honda Goldwing, Im not really sure but I think I would like to have a Yamaha Venture Royal.

They are a really nice handling and powerful road bike.

The GL1000 is my second bike... the primary (at least until the GL is road-worthy again) is a KZ440, which is nice and easy to maneuver. Sure, the mirrors move in mysterious ways above 4000 RPM, and it's hard-pressed to keep out of the way on limited-access highways, but that's not where the fun is, is it?

My other bike is the RAT

Image

An '82 CB900/1100F hybrid, for blasting thru the twisties

Done my share of touring on her too.

But 6000 miles in 6 days

I'm in awe.

Gord

Any bike but a new royal enfeild!!!!!!!!My dad bought one last year. When they say unchanged by technolgy they mean it! no crush washers no teflon nuts and a maintance schedule that reguires a master mechanic to follow you in a van  My choice would have to be a new honda valkyrie
